صراحة نيوز – عيّن أنطونيو غوتيريش الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، رئيسة قرغيزستان السابقة روزا أوتونباييفا مبعوثة جديدة للأمم المتحدة إلى أفغانستان.
وأصبحت أوتونباييفا رئيسة مؤقتة لبلدها في نيسان 2010 بعد انتفاضة دموية أجبرت الرئيس كرمان بك باكييف على اختيار المنفى.
وقالت وكالة “رويترز”، إن أوتونباييفا عضو سابق في برلمان بلادها ووزيرة سابقة شغلت منصب نائب الممثل الخاص لبعثة الأمم المتحدة السابقة في جورجيا، وهي حاليا عضو مجلس الأمم المتحدة الرفيع المستوى للوساطة ومنع النزاعات.
وتخلف رئيسة قرغيزستان السابقة في منصبها الجديد ، الكندية ديبورا ليونز، وستقود بعثة الأمم المتحدة في أفغانستان.
